Caidric Gupit wins award!
Congratulations to Caidric, who won first prize for his presentation at the Fall 2022 BASF-CARA review.
Big congratulations to Caidric Gupit for his first-prize presentation at the BASF-CARA Fall review, held at UC Santa Barbara. CARA, the California Research Alliance by BASF, is a multidisciplinary research institute sponsored with an emphasis on advanced materials, biosciences, catalysis, digitalization, formulation, inorganic materials, and synthesis. Caidric presented on collaborative work advanced by the Valentine and Helgeson Labs at UC Santa Barbara and Maynard Lab at UCLA to determine polymer growth kinetics using time-resolved, high-throughput microrheology. Congratulations and thanks also to postdocs Pedro Salas (UCLA) and Yimin Luo (UCSB) who provided key contributions to this work. Caidric's project also leverages the tools and expertise provided by the BioPACIFIC MIP. Great work, Caidric!
