The Valentine Lab hosted a 2-day hack-a-thon to develop software and analysis approaches to characterize living biotic-abiotic materials with temporally programmable actuation. Faculty and trainees from UC Santa Barbara, the University of San Diego, and Rochester Institute of Technology participated as part of our NSF-sponsored DMREF award.
