ISMC 2024: Blurring the boundaries between fields - connecting to reshape the future of soft matter.  This international meeting, held for the first time in the Americas, showcases frontier science and engineering of soft materials.  

Prof. Valentine presented the lab's work on "New approaches to designing and deploying hydrogels for force sensing and control".

Our DMREF collaboration also presented several posters showcasing the group's efforts in designing, characterizing, and modeling biotic-abiotic materials capable of autonomous sensing and actuation.
